About The Role
Join Cater Care as one of 2 Casual Cleaners at our education site in Alice Springs. Your work will help keep the campus clean, safe, and inviting for everyone on-site.
You'll handle general cleaning across offices and communal areas, with no bed-making, plus optional laundry tasks. We offer flexible morning and afternoon shifts and a friendly, supportive team. Cleaning or laundry experience is great - but we're happy to train the right person.
Roster: Flexible morning and afternoon shifts available across cleaning and laundry duties.
What This Role Involves
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste removal
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery in a safe and effective manner
Carry out laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens or uniforms as required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all site areas, including classrooms, communal spaces, restrooms, and offices
Adherence to health, safety, and hygiene procedures
Desired Skills And Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience (preferred but not essential)
A friendly, professional approach to service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A valid driver's licence and own vehicle
Willingness to learn - training provided for the right applicant
