As Events Sales Executive, you will identify and pursue new business development opportunities, including exhibitor sales, corporate sales, and existing account management of clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including exhibitor sales, corporate sales, and account management.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to maximise revenue opportunities.
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and target prospects.
* Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
* Develop tailored proposals and presentations to secure exhibitors.
* Engage with current exhibitors, conduct meetings, and send proposals to secure sales for each event.
* Attend industry and networking functions
* Attend competitive events within industry to source new leads
Your Background
* Minimum 3+ years in business development, sales, within events, hotels or hospitality.
* Proven business development skills with a focus on on-the-road sales.
* Proven experience in cold calling, with the ability to engage prospects and convert leads into sales.
* Sales Acumen: Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.
