Scientist Position
We are seeking a skilled professional to work in our New Medicines and Diagnostics Division. The successful candidate will contribute to developing compounds for an industry program.
The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset and interact daily with biologists (screening, molecular, cellular and structural biologists).
* A Bachelor of Science degree with a PhD in organic or medicinal chemistry is required.
* Experience with modern synthetic techniques such as anhydrous chemistry, metal-mediates cross-coupling chemistry and compound purification is essential.
* Strong communication skills (both oral and written) are necessary.
A strong work ethic, ability to work independently and effectively interact with other lab members, ability to trouble-shoot and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
