We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Care Services Worker to join our Care team at The Verge Retirement Village in Burleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, providing support and comfort to our residents.
This casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.
Casual Position working mainly across Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required at times
Reporting to the Regional Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication prompting
* Where required, assisting with meal preparation
* Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
* Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
* Social Support and Shopping assistance
We’re on the lookout for someone with:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
* First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
* Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
