We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Broiler Farm Assistant Manager to join our team at Jocton Farm, located in Jandabup, Western Australia.

The position of Broiler Farm Assistant Manager is primarily responsible, in the absence of the Farm Manager, for achieving maximum productivity and liveability for the broiler farm (as measured against agreed key performance indicators) and ensuring all work is carried out according to Baiada safety standards and policies.
The process includes shed set-up, chick placement, grow out, pickup and clean out operations on the broiler farm.
The position reports to the Broiler Farm Manager and has working relationships with the cleanout crew, the maintenance staff, Baiada contractors, other broiler farm staff and relevant livestock clerical staff as required.
The Broiler Farm Assistant Manager is also responsible for, in the absence of the Farm Manager, for the management of the Baiada workplace injury management system on the broiler farm.
The position is also responsible for supervision of other areas of the broiler farm as agreed with the Farm Manager.

SQF Quality systems
Biosecurity Procedures
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
Workplace Injury Management System
Chain or Responsibility (CoR)
Required Skills:
Proven skills in management of personnel
Knowledge of quality systems, WHS and EMS policies and procedures
Knowledge of CoR requirements
Experience in the poultry industry, specifically broiler farming
Undertake Certificate III in Poultry Production qualification (if required)
Able to see tasks through to completion
Essential Qualifications / Licences
Previous experience in livestock management
Current driver's license (including tractor when required)
