Job Description
This Safety Advisor position plays a pivotal role in supporting Linfox's operations across Western Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
* Partnering with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans that prioritize safety and well-being
* Embedding a risk-based approach that focuses on everyday, critical, and psychosocial risks
* Crafting and implementing strategies to foster a culture of care, trust, and inclusion among employees
* Developing and maintaining systems that emphasize risk, health, compliance, and customer expectations
* Leading serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions

Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
* Leadership experience in safety, health, and wellbeing, or other risk-based roles
* Experience working in a Safety Advisor role with a minimum of Cert IV WHS certification
* Practical understanding of the unique risks associated with the transport, warehousing, and resources industry
* Commitment to ongoing personal development through formal education or training programs
* Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations
* Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation
* Ability to develop and present results, plans, and updates to leadership teams and customers
