We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Managerto join our Cairns Store in a Permanent Full Time position.
The Cairns opening hours are Monday to Saturday (NO nights)
As the Assistant Store Manager you will:
* Customer service and processing sales
* Tinting and mixing of paint
* Working with the team to achieve store targets
* Being customer focused by providing an exceptional customer service
* You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
* Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
* Support Store Manager with admin related tasks and other duties as required
In order to be considered you will have:
* 3-5 years previous retail experience
* Looking for the chance to move into a leadership role- Training provided
* Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales and KPI goals
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
* Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
We are looking for a team player looking to develop their retail career into a leadership role in a company that offers development and growth to its employees. Knowledge of the paint industry couldn't hurt either, however, being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must.
