KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create digital content, including SEO copywriting, refreshing existing content and writing for a range of target audiences.
- Develop copy for new self-service portal - and related collateral.
- Evaluate web traffic and customer behaviour by analysing reporting systems like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics use data to improve customer experience and facilitate customer self service.
- Review content thatu0027s driving traffic and know how to maximise audience and engagement.
- Build and maintain solid, two-way, trusted working relationships with other Customer Programs team members and stakeholders involved in providing content for digital and other communication channels
- Maintain a high level of focus on the needs of Sydney Water customers
- Work with a high level of autonomy
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members
- Use best practice, experience and influencing skills to guide project leaders on content decisions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in related field, such as Marketing and Communication, Advertising and Media, or English
- 8+ years of digital content creation within tight deadlines.
- 5+ years SEO copywriting.
- Experience writing easy to understand content for various audiences.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager and Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with digital marketing tactics, including SEO best practices, web analytics and content
- strategy direction.
- Experience working on digital website migration project, in particular testing and verifying content
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to write targeted digital content which considers SEO, and measurable goals and KPIs.
- Detail oriented with flexibility - ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work independently, self-directed yet understand dependencies related to the website and
- other related systems and processes.
- Highly motivated and energetic professional.
- Excellent organisational, scheduling and time management skills.
- Ability to evaluate keyword and audience research and initiate A-B and other online testing.
- Proactive thinker and problem solver.
