About The Role
As Senior Data Scientist, you will provide the deep technical expertise and theoretical rigor required to build TEG's next generation of AI products. Supporting the Principal and Lead Data Scientists, you will bridge the gap between cutting‐edge research and production-ready applications. Partnering with ML Engineers and Product teams, you will ensure technical excellence through the implementation of production-grade CI/CD, Dockerisation, and robust model monitoring. Your primary goal is to elevate the team's technical execution, ensuring that every solution is built on a foundation of scientific excellence and scalable engineering.
Requirements
What a day in the life looks like?
* Implement state‐of‐the‐art (SOTA) machine learning and Generative AI solutions and apply deep theoretical understanding to develop pragmatic solutions spanning from traditional machine learning to advanced GenAI techniques that drive real business outcomes.
* Partner with the Principal and Lead Data Scientists to provide technical feasibility assessments and research‐backed insights for the AI roadmap.
* Implement robust experimentation and measurement frameworks to quantitatively measure model performance and overall business impact.
* Write production‐quality code to develop and refine models, partnering with ML Engineers to deploy these solutions in cloud platforms.
* Design and implement end‐to‐end AI solutions using the full Vertex AI ecosystem, including Pipelines, Agent Garden, and Vertex Search.
* Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex model behaviours and AI‐driven business impacts into actionable insights that align technical delivery with TEG's broader commercial strategy.
