Our client requires and experienced immediately available Senior Payroll Officer to join their busy team on a temporary basis for 6-8 weeks.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for assisting with the following:
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Supporting payroll process improvements, reporting, and audit preparation.
- Managing payroll administration, including payments and deductions (e.g., PAYG, payroll tax, workers compensation, child support, Centrelink).
- Reconciling transactions back to financial reporting.
- Preparing reports and documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting colleagues by sharing payroll knowledge and skills.
Skills & Experience
Our client is looking for a payroll officer with proven experience in working across different awards and delivering within
- Proven experience in working across different awards
- Miniumum 3-5 years experience
- The ability to solve problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and also be part of a team
- Good excel skills
