Key Role in Records Management
This is a pivotal opportunity to join the Information & Records Management (IRM) function and contribute to effective records management across the department. As a skilled and detail-oriented Records Officer, you will be responsible for appraising sentencing and disposing of both physical and electronic records.
Responsibilities:
* Undertaking and managing records lifecycle including disposal
* Collaborating with the Senior Archivist and other IRM team members to ensure compliance with records retention policies
* Processing records updating metadata in the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)
Requirements:
* Expertise in records and information management with experience in EDRMS (preferably CM10)
* Strong understanding of the State Records Act (NSW) and AS ISO 15489 standard
* Detail-oriented and organised with the ability to manage large volumes of records efficiently
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
