Sage Psychology and Assessment is a small, locally own psychology practice in Gladstone with a passion for supporting the mental health of regional and rural communities. We are a growing practice and we are looking for a Psychologist to join our team. About the role
Reporting to the Director, core responsibilities of the role will include:
Provide psychological services using evidence-based practice with children, adolescents and adults.
Create and implement appropriate assessment and intervention plans for clients.
Write psychological reports and correspondence to referrers, including assessments.
Ability to provide cognitive and diagnostic assessment services across the lifespan.
Follow practice policies and procedures and the Psychology Code of Ethics
This is an employed position with remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience. There is capacity to increase to full time hours, for the right candidate, if desired.

You will be a qualified, registered Psychologist. You will have a warm professional presence with clients, and a drive for delivering exceptional service.

You will be an excellent communicator who is confident, sensitive, accurate and thorough, and focused on helping clients move towards meaningful change. Being a small and growing practice, teamwork and team fit is crucial to our continued growth and success.
The musts
Bachelor degree (Honours) or Masters in Psychology.
Knowledge of research, evidence-based theory, and clinical practice.
Experience in administering and scoring various psychometric tests (e.g., WISC, WAIS, WIAT, Q-Interactive Library), will be highly desired.
Experience and preference for working with children will be highly desired, but is not essential.
Board Approved Supervisor status will be highly desired.
Hold a Working With Children's Check (Employee).
Satisfactory National Police Check.
Current APHRA registration.
Medicare Provider Number (or be eligible to apply for one).
C Class Drivers License.
