About the role
Titane Windows & Doors (Tas) Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Legana, Tasmania. This full-time role will be responsible for working closely with our Warehouse Manager maintaining the efficient and organised operation of our warehouse.
What you'll be doing
* Receive, unload, and put away stock of incoming shipments of materials and products
* Pick and prepare materials for the Manufacturing Team
* Prepare, package and load completed Windows and Doors for dispatch
* Maintain inventory records and assist with stock counts
* Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and well-organised
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
* Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
* Assist with other warehouse, manufacturing and logistics-related tasks as needed
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role, ideally within the manufacturing or construction industry
* Minimum 1-2 years of warehousing experience is essential for this position
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Computer literacy data input desirable
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment
* Valid forklift licence of any type is required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A team-oriented approach and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
