Y Schools Queensland are recruiting a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Manager on a Permanent Full-Time basis to join our team based in Fortitude Valley As the RTO Manager with the Y Schools Queensland, you will establish and maintain Y Schools Queensland's Registered Training Organisation (RTO), ensuring full compliance with QCAA, ASQA, and the Standards for RTOs *****), and implementation of a sustainable, high-performing VET delivery model operating across all campuses.
What will my time look like?
Lead the full setup and registration process of Y Schools Queensland's RTO with QCAA, including the application development, documentation, systems, and quality assurance frameworks.
Develop and implement RTO policies, procedures, and compliance systems in alignment with all relevant Standards.
Oversee the establishment of required data management systems and processes and ensure compliance with reporting and funding body requirements.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a skilled Vocational RTO Team across the school network that adopts a student-centred approach to training and assessment Work collaboratively with Heads of Teaching and Learning and Pathways, Heads of School and Campus, and VET Leads to ensure alignment of RTO activities with Y Schools curriculum and Pathways Blueprint Lead internal audit and review processes; prepare for external audits and regulatory reporting.
Am I a good match?
Demonstrated experience leading or managing a school-based RTO (institutional RTO experience also considered) Deep understanding of the Standards for RTOs *****) and VET Quality Framework.
Proven ability to lead compliance, audit, and registration processes.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of stakeholder engagement.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent).
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check.
Desirable: Experience in school-based VET program development.
Knowledge of Queensland Department of Youth Justice, DESBT, ISQ, QCAA, NSSAB and other relevant governing bodies What's in it for you?
