Ja-max Industries Pty Ltd is a Leading Mechanical Servicing & Repair Company who carries out repairs to Light Vehicles & Machinery Located in Blackwater & the Surrounding Districts of Central Queensland.
At Ja-max Industries we pride our selves on Professional, Quality Maintenance, Servicing and emergency breakdowns on a large range of vehicles from residential, commercial and industrial sectors in a Workshop based Environment.
Due to increased workloads we have a fabulous opportunities available for passionate Automotive Mechanic's to join the Ja-max Family.
These positions are available in our Town Based Workshop on 4/3 Dayshift only Roster- Monday to Thursday Shifts. (48 Hr Week)
The successful Applicant Will:
*Hold Relevant & Valid Trade Qualifications as Light Vehicle Mechanic- Minimum 2 years post trade experience
*Recognise and report worn or potentially dangerous components of our Client Vehicles
*Complete all paperwork required of the Company for each job carried out- with attention to detail
*Hold a Current Drivers Licence
*Have Excellent Customer Service & Time Management Skills
*Comply with WHS Rules, regulations & procedures of the mine site & our town workshop
*Be Positive & have a can-do Attitude
*Be reliable & punctual on a daily basis
*Be an Australian Resident - No Sponsorship is available
*Have experience in Auto electrical - is preferred
*Hold Mine site Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical - Or willingness to obtain at your own expense or through training contracts with the company to obtain this position.
*Be able to use iphone / ipad and email through these to communicate with the company and its client's as required.
The below would also be advantageous for the position, but not essential:
*Hold Air Conditioning licence
*Hold Current Mine Site Brake Testing Certification
