We have an exciting new opportunity at Rhino Rack for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join the herd reporting to the COO to lead end to end procurement, and the strategic sourcing processes, with a focus on developing strong partnerships with vendors, managing the relationship, and driving their performance.

Bring your solid knowledge of best practice procurement & supplier management
Develop and sustain Quality relationships with a range of suppliers and internal stakeholders
Influence and manage internal and external relationships by providing commercial support to meet business objectives and goals, including our sustainability and innovation commitments.
Develop and regularly refine category plans to address business needs, mitigate risks, and deliver long term sustainable value in the form of supply contingency, productivity, effective risk management, supply partnerships, reliability of supply, continuous improvement and supplier led innovation.
Provide agility for the supply chain to support seasonal demand changes and communicate preferred supplier arrangements and the commercial implications of each to key business partners
Deliver optimal business value through supplier selection and ongoing management, and you will identify and differentiate between strategically managed and tactically managed spending and suppliers.
Lead a team of Procurement Specialists and Officers delivering best practice service to our internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the day-to-day procurement activities within your team and maintain compliance with operating procedures and processes.
Track and collate key functional metrics and report regularly to senior internal stakeholders.
Development, implementation, management and administration of contracts.
Manage continuous improvement initiatives to implement best practice procurement; seek to optimise value and minimise inefficiencies in the procurement of goods and services;
Establish and maintain relationships by partnering with suppliers, focussing on total cost of ownership, competitive pricing, quality deliverables and high-level performance standards;
Interpret relevant spend analysis, finding opportunities through market analysis to continually assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies and opportunities determined in category plans across a range of categories;
Develop contract documentation, calling of tenders, tender evaluation, commercial negotiations, awarding of contracts and contract management.
**You will have**:
3+ years in a similar role
Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, management and administration of contracts.
Expert knowledge of procurement processes, activities and market trends.
- Stakeholder, vendor and relationship management skills are also paramount and strengthen your ability to guide and influence outcomes. You will have exemplary negotiation, communication, collaboration, prioritisation and critical thinking skills
- You'll possess highly developed problem-solving skills, commercial acumen and passion for delivering commercial outcomes.
- Be adept in problem solving, negotiating and resolving conflicts to achieve required outcomes, clearly articulating themes drawn from complex datasets. Proven financial analysis skills with a high level of numeric understanding.
- Experience working within cross functional teams to manage and execute projects.
- Demonstrated analytical ability to use insights, analytics, and trends to deliver business outcomes.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.
