Position: Junior IT Support Technician Location: West Perth Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 Job Type: Permanent Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join a growing managed service provider team in Perth. Perks: Career development and professional growth opportunities Supportive team environment with regular training Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices Mentorship from experienced senior technicians Modern office facilities with collaborative workspace Regular team social events and professional development sessions Roles and Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve client support tickets through remote assistance and on-site visits Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software technical issues Manage support ticket queues, ensuring SLAs are consistently met Assist with system installations, upgrades, and configuration management Configure user permissions, device settings, and software deployments Maintain and upgrade hardware and software infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and network switches Participate in client site visits and project implementations Support new user onboarding processes and system orientations Maintain comprehensive client IT environment documentation Coordinate effectively with external vendors and service providers Role Requirements: Relevant TAFE qualification, Bachelor's degree, or 6-12 months experience in a similar technical role Genuine passion for technology with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional approach to client interactions and technical support delivery Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Technical Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and productivity applications Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services and administration Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting Basic understanding of network infrastructure and security principles We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
