Step into a pivotal role supporting major government construction projects! We're seeking an experienced Superintendent Representative/ Senior Contract Administrator to lead the effective delivery of large‐scale building works.
About the Role
In this position, you'll oversee the administration of government building contracts, ensuring projects progress smoothly, safely, and in line with all quality and compliance requirements. From conducting site inspections to managing contract obligations and navigating issues as they arise, you'll be central to driving project success!
Responsibilities Include
* Managing contract administration for complex government projects
* Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance
* Issuing variation orders
* Reviewing contractual claims, and contractor requests
* Overseeing quality assurance and Building Act compliance
* Providing expert advice on dispute resolution and contract management
* Leading and mentoring a team of Superintendent Representatives
* Effectively communicate with clients and all project team members, in relation to all potential cost, time and quality issues.
What We're Looking For
* Knowledge of contract administration (traditional & non-traditional contracts)
* Previous experience in construction is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of government building contracts (multi-storey, modular housing, etc) is highly desirable
* High attention to detail & strong communication skills
