Responsibilities
* Ensure all employees are adequately supervised and supported in their roles.
* Maintain daily site diaries to record crew activities, progress, and any issues encountered.
* Manage and resolve day-to-day operational challenges, making informed decisions as required.
* Lead and facilitate Toolbox and Pre-Start Meetings.
* Confirm that all prerequisite instructions, specifications, drawings, and associated documentation are available prior to commencing work.
* Verify contract requirements for assigned installation works using the appropriate documentation, including ITPs and ITRs.
* Review and approve employee and contractor timesheets related to project activities.
* Organise materials and equipment to support efficient, scheduled installations.
* Ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to enable productive installation practices.
* Work collaboratively with other site supervisors to establish and prioritize daily work activities.
* Identify and implement work methods that enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Monitor, organise, and address any issues related to employee and contractor travel, accommodation, and meal arrangements.
Requirements
* Current A-Class Electrical Licence (valid in your home state)
* Valid Driver's Licence
* LV Rescue & Resuscitation Certificate (completed within the past 12 months)
* Construction White Card
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
* Supervisory experience
Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with industrial installations, cable systems (MV, LV, DC, Control, Fire, Comms)
* Dual Trade, Instrumentation, MV Cable Jointing, or HVAC qualifications
* Safe Working at Heights certification
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
* Quality assurance and compliance testing experience
