The Team:
The Tasmanian Community Paediatric Service (TCPS) comprises a dedicated multidisciplinary team of paediatricians, allied health professionals, and clinical nurse consultants, supported by an administrative team including a Customer Service Officer, an Executive Assistant, and an Executive and Project Support Officer. There are 20 Kids Care Clinics (KCCs) statewide in outreach settings. The TCPS team collaborates with strategic partners in the community to triage referrals promptly and coordinate place-based appointments to improve outcomes for children and their families.
The Role:
The primary role of the Executive Assistant (EA) is to support the head of the Tasmanian Community Paediatric Service in managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining records of leave requests, arranging meetings and taking minutes, managing the clinical footprint calendar, and organizing travel and accommodation for staff undertaking statewide clinics. The EA will liaise with facility personnel for office management needs and work collaboratively with the TCPS team to ensure smooth administrative operations and support the Customer Service Officer.
You will need:
* Demonstrated high-level administrative skills and broad experience in contemporary office management practices.
* Proficiency in hospital information systems and software applications, including database creation, correspondence, and report generation.
* Ability to plan, set daily priorities, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and objectives.

Details of appointment:
Fixed-term, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for up to six months. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the publication date, this process may be used to fill similar vacancies, including full-time, part-time, and casual roles.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum, plus employer superannuation contribution of 11.5%.
* Salary is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Salary packaging options are available, including living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 for meal entertainment annually, plus other benefits if eligible.
