About the Role:

The Assistant Accountant / Accounts Payable Officer provides essential financial support to the Finance Team at North Canberra Hospital. This role involves assisting with the preparation of journals, account reconciliations, and end-of-month reporting, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The position also supports accounts payable functions, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting, contributing to the smooth operation of the hospital's finance activities. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely and high-quality financial services.
