Purpose
As a Kitchen Hand, you will maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring all surfaces, dishes, and equipment meet strict hygiene standards. You will work closely with the kitchen brigade to support outstanding dining experiences for guests.
Primary Responsibilities
* Maintain impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods.
* Carry out rubbish removal, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors.
* Disinfect and clean, ensuring the proper sequence of chemical usage.
* Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks, including grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings.
Skills & Experience
* Practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is desirable.
* Enthusiastic "can-do" attitude and a positive, motivated demeanour.
* Ability to thrive in a diverse, quick‐paced team environment.
* Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
