The opportunity
This role is designed for an early-career professional who is curious, organised and eager to learn the fundamentals of product management. You'll support the Product team with day-to-day activities that help deliver meaningful improvements to the aXcelerate platform.
You'll work closely with Product, Design, Development and customers, gaining exposure to real-world product challenges while developing your skills in documentation, user research, feature testing and requirement definition — all with guidance and support along the way.
What you'll do
Customer & stakeholder feedback: Review, collate and help respond to feedback from internal teams and customers to support product improvements.
Feature testing & review: Assist with reviewing and testing new features to ensure quality, usability and clarity before release.
Development tasks: Help create clear and well-defined development tasks that outline requirements and objectives for delivery teams.
Product discovery & research: Support customer engagement, market research and user research activities in collaboration with marketing and design.
Product delivery support: Assist with defining feature requirements and supporting the coordination and prioritisation of product improvements.
Process improvement: Contribute to improving internal documentation standards and product processes as you grow in the role.
About you
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent transferable experience aligned to product management.
* A strong interest in technology, software products and how products are built and improved.
* Experience (academic, professional or personal) creating clear written documentation.
* An understanding of, or eagerness to learn, product management concepts and development lifecycles.
* Strong attention to detail with good organisation and time-management skills.
* Great listening skills with empathy, and the ability to understand and consider different perspectives.
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* A genuine curiosity about users, problems and what makes a product successful.
