Your Responsibilities
* Assist the teacher to deliver a play‑based, approved kindergarten program that promotes children's wellbeing, learning and development.
* Always maintain duty of care during classroom, outdoor and transition activities.
* Support inclusion: Assist children with additional or diverse learning needs to fully participate in the program.
* Provide input on children's learning and behaviour to support planning and reporting.
* Set up, clean and pack away learning spaces and resources, following hygiene and safety procedures.
* Support respectful communication with children, families and staff, valuing cultural diversity.
* Help children with daily routines and transitions.
* Collaborate with the teacher and participate in meetings, training and professional learning.
* Adhere to Education Queensland departmental guidelines, Child Protection requirements and maintain current Blue Card and First Aid qualifications.
