Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our high-performing workshop team. Our ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy diesel products in our workshop
* Diagnose and repair various engines predominately across on-highway, industrial, and power generation sectors
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)
* Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
* Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction, or Agriculture desirable but not essential
