Due to continued growth of the business into new sectors, we are seeking a Junior Estimator & Project Coordinator to join our team. During this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with a seasoned Project Manager & Estimator to receive comprehensive training aimed at developing your skills to deliver exceptional service to our clients and business partners. Roles & Responsibilities: Filing and reviewing tender& other documents. Supporting and working closely with Project Management / Estimating & Operations Team with day-to-day tasks. Undertaking quantity take-offs & detailed estimates using Estimating Software. Responsible for the flow of information from clients to the team. Communication and team collaboration – working closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure project goals are met at highest standards. Undertake detailed project estimates. Coordinate with the site foreman to order materials and schedule inspections as needed. Monitoring project costings & Monthly progress claims. Reviewing design and engineering plans. Assist with WHS compliance. Conduct site-visits to undertake on site measure-ups. To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence. Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience as junior project coordinator or junior estimator. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Experience with estimation software such as Cubit is advantageous. A willingness to learn with a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and part of a team. Proactive approach and take ownership of tasks provided is essential. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm Pay Range: $27 to $32 per hour, this will be discussed in interview and dependent on the level of skill and experience. Note: All new employees will commence on a casual basis for an initial 3-month period. A performance review will be conducted in the fourth month to discuss the opportunity for full-time employment.
