- Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- The primary responsibility for this position is to prepare and critically analyse actual business performance, maintain monthly rolling forecasts and prepare the annual budget across a number of departments of the organisation. In addition, this position will play a key role in preparing submissions and liaising with Global and Asia Pacific stakeholders to ensure the team meets its reporting requirements, with an emphasis on driving efficiencies in reporting to allow for more time on analysis and value-add activities. Provide support to the Senior Manager - FP&A and wider Finance team in providing comprehensive business analysis on an ad hoc, cross-functional basis.- Key Responsibilities:
- Be the key FP&A business partner to the Retail department, providing financial robustness to commercial initiatives and sharing insights and recommendations to improve business performance. Be able to critically analyse large amounts of data across the store fleet, prepare and submit budgets and forecasts when needed at the level of detail required. Be open-minded to challenge assumptions and proactively run ad hoc analysis to provide business recommendations. preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Be the key FP&A business partner to the Marketing department to efficiently and accurately monitor sports marketing and campaign marketing spend. Maintain relevant budgeting and forecasting files to allow for timely submissions. Be unrestricted in effectively communicating with, and provide technical financial support to non-financial stakeholders.
- Being the key FP&A contact responsible for consolidating and analysing total operating expenditure (OPEX), both by cost centre and expenditure type. Prepare accurate and robust forecasting projections and adhere to reporting requirements specific to OPEX.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of rolling forecasts and the annual budget to regional and global headquarters, including the upload of financial information into global reporting systems.
- Continuous improvement of existing business processes to improve efficiency and/or accuracy.
- Assist the Senior Manager, FP&A and wider Finance team on completing ad hoc finance analysis tasks as required.

- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role with a financial and/or accounting background is highly desirable
- CPA / CA qualification, or nearing completion
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or related discipline
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with SAP is a bonus
- Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Completed tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance and have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- CPA/CA qualification or nearing completion
