Financial Controller | Multi‐Site Growth Environment | Leadership & Systems Focus
About the Role
As the Financial Controller, you'll work closely with the Senior Finance team, taking ownership of the organisation's financial operations and driving improvements across a multi‐site, operationally complex environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow
* Leading and developing the finance team
* Working with operations and technology teams to improve systems and streamline processes
* Supporting business case development and growth initiatives
* Enhancing internal controls, financial systems, and reporting accuracy
* Playing a strategic role in enabling scalable, tech‐enabled growth
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both technical and leadership capability, ideally with:
* 5+ years in corporate accounting or financial management
* Experience in multi‐site, logistics, manufacturing, or operationally complex environments
* Background in a senior accounting or Assistant Financial Controller position
* Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA/CPA preferred)
* Strong knowledge of compliance requirements (BAS, GST, payroll tax)
* Proven process improvement and internal controls experience
* Advanced financial systems experience, including implementations or integrations
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to partner effectively across the business
