WOW Recruitment is seeking multiple Event Assistants to support a leading healthcare organisation delivering major scientific and medical conferences across Australia.
This is a fantastic prospect for someone with solid customer service, hospitality, or events experience who enjoys being hands‑on, interacting with people, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly from start to finish.
About the Role:
You’ll play a key part in creating a seamless delegate experience at our upcoming event, held at South Bank.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the registration desk and signing in delegates
Distributing name badges, lanyards, and programs
Assisting with delegate enquiries
Liaising with hotel and catering teams to ensure smooth event flow
Supporting the on‑site Event Manager as needed
About You:
We’re looking for people who are:
Well presented, confident, and professional under pressure
Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and proactive
Experienced in customer service, hospitality, or events (preferred but not essential)
