Solicitor or Senior Solicitor Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join our Abuse Law practice in Newcastle.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients who have been wronged. They will work closely with pre-eminent experts in the field, who have been invited to speak locally and internationally, to secure justice and influence change in how we protect our children.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level, although we are open to candidates seeking part-time arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice and representation to obtain compensation
* Work across various client matters requiring sensitivity and expertise
* Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients
* Draft legal documentation with attention to detail
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Laws with current practising certificate
* Post-admission experience in personal injury or abuse law
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and legal documentation
* Maturity and confidence to deal with clients experiencing trauma
