Anchor Safe Rope Access is an award-winning remedial builder specialising in high-rise facade painting, remedial repair, inspections, restorations and maintenance in Sydney and Melbourne. Our Rope Access teams are highly skilled and accredited facade specialists as well as trade-certified registered remedial builders, trained to work in challenging locations with confidence and precision.
We are looking for a qualified Rope Access Technician to join our Sydney team.
To qualify for the position, you must have experience in:
- Working with the management team in consulting with clients about type of surface and optimal paint options, particularly for high-rise buildings and construction sites and advising on best high-rise painting solutions.
- Confident in performing Painting, Caulking, Concrete Repairs, Window cleaning to buildings in Sydney and surrounding areas.
- Performing industrial rope access work; use rope access skills to complete jobs.
- Using appropriate tools and materials to prepare surfaces to perform job as required.
- Ensuring surfaces are not exposed to moisture by sealing cracks and corners, especially on building facades.
- Painting different surface type including, but not limited to, windowsills, metal roofs, steel structures and beams and building facades.
- Performing restoration, rendering, installation, and maintenance work on building structures as required.
- Carrying out work allocated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Preparing, removing and clean up of materials from completed job site.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year experience as Rope Access technician and knowledge of the building repair and maintenance industry.
- Rope Access certified (any level) ie. IRATA.
- A valid white card.
- Full work rights in Australia.
- Strong problem-solving skills to face unexpected challenges that arises.
- Positive communication skills when working with other technicians, contractors, suppliers, clients, building managers, engineers, etc.
- A strong commitment to completing projects on time and within budget.
