Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a key role that combines technical expertise with innovative thinking. As a Mechanical and Pipeline Engineer, you will provide critical support in engineering and design processes for oil and gas pipelines.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and supporting FEED and concept design studies, including detailed design calculations, and assisting in creating scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria, and pipeline alignment sheets. Additionally, you will participate in risk assessments and related workshops, prepare and support cost estimates, equipment summaries, and tender packages, and conduct mechanical engineering design and documentation from concept through to construction.
Requirements
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* 3-5 years' experience in mechanical engineering, especially pipeline design, piping, pressure vessels, and static equipment analysis
* Proven experience in Australian oil and gas pipeline projects
* Knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian standards, acts, and regulations
* Progress towards or achievement of Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia
