Six Degrees Executive is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, Australian-owned dairy ingredients and commodities business operating across both domestic and export channels. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and manage a comfortable portfolio. This is a role for a true business development hunter. Someone who thrives on the chase, enjoys opening doors, builds relationships from scratch and gets genuine satisfaction from winning new business. You will step into a role with a small warm base, but the real opportunity here lies in your ability to build pipeline, generate leads, convert opportunities and grow your territory through consistent, proactive activity. This business wants someone with energy, drive and presence. Someone who is commercially sharp, resilient, and naturally wired to go after opportunities rather than wait for them to land.

Reporting to an experienced commercial leader, you will be trusted to work autonomously, move with urgency and take ownership of your results.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive new business growth through proactive outbound activity, relationship building and market development
* Identify, pursue and convert opportunities across target accounts and channels
* Manage and grow an existing customer base, while keeping a strong focus on new revenue generation
* Lead pricing, margin and contract negotiations with confidence
* Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting and CRM activity
* Work closely with logistics and operations to deliver a high standard of service
* Travel periodically to key customers across major ANZ markets

You are a genuine BD hunter at heart. You know how to create opportunities, build trust quickly and turn conversations into commercial outcomes. You are energised by sales, motivated by results and comfortable being on the front foot every day.

You will likely bring

* Proven B2B sales experience in a business development or hunter-style role
* A proactive, resilient and driven approach, with the confidence to win new business
* Strong commercial acumen and comfort managing pricing, negotiation and profitability
* The ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of your pipeline and results
* A high level of activity, urgency and personal accountability
* Strong CRM discipline and clear written and verbal communication
* Experience from FMCG, ingredients, commodities, industrial or other adjacent B2B categories will be well regarded
