Join a High-Impact NBN Project Team in Canberra! Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of Australia's most important infrastructure initiatives? We're assembling a brand-new team in Canberra, ACT, and we're seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead multi-disciplinary trade crews on a major NBN upgrade project.
Responsibilities
* Authorise excavation works, monitor progress, and ensure smooth, safe operations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate site walk-ups, planning and scoping to support efficient construction delivery.
* Supervise subcontractors to deliver approved works safely and to plan.
* Complete compliance and critical control checks and ensure safety standards are met.
* Liaise with Site Engineers to ensure material availability and resolve constraints.
* Conduct daily site checks including permits, environmental and traffic controls.
* Foster a positive, safety-led team culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in site supervision and subcontractor management.
* Prior experience telecommunications, ideally NBN or civil experience essential.
* Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) documentation.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* You must be based in Canberra or willing to relocate.
