The Role: As the Motel Manager Couple, for our Motel in Cairns in QLD location, This rear position is available immediately; Applicants who can start within a week will be preferred. As a nature of the motel, we will consider applicants only who are couple. This position is not suitable for single applicants. Our motel has 70 seat restaurants currently managed by our staff. You will play a critical role in shaping this site into a sought-after location in the region with high standards in every category of service and delivery. Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the motel, including check-in and check-out procedures, housekeeping room cleaning (20 rooms minimum per week) maintenance and cooking breakfast for our guests. More specifically you will be responsible for: Handling payments and financial reconciliations. Increase and Respond Online OTA reviews and improve online ratings. Ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction Managing budgets, financial reporting and bookkeeping Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue. Ensure rooms, grounds and pool are always well maintained and presented to the highest standard. General banking and administration duties Manage stock levels and monitor supplies. Understand that motel management can be 24/7 and be willing to assist with late check-ins or emergencies if required. Attend to general maintenance as required and liaise with tradesmen when necessary to ensure everything is kept in good working order. Be happy to room cleaning around 20 rooms per week, Oversee the restaurant operations, step in when any support is necessary. The ideal candidate(s) will possess the following skills and qualifications: You should be able to start with in 7 days. Well- presented, professional, warm and friendly customer service skills Experience with motel booking system an advantage, but training can be provided. Previous experience in motel or hotel management is an advantage. Experience and Hands-on skills are must! General maintenance and gardening skills required Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Strong financial and budgeting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills, including knowledge of property management systems Be seeking a long-term commitment Obtain food and safety, Providing police and drug clearance report are a must.
