Looking to work in a rewarding role within the healthcare industry? Total Care Podiatry, a leading podiatry practice in Geelong VIC 3220, is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Allied Health Receptionist to join their team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued patients and play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.
What you'll be doing
* Welcoming and registering patients, managing their appointments and enquiries in a professional and caring manner
* Managing incoming phone calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate team members
* Handling payments, processing billing and maintaining accurate patient records
* Assisting with the organisation and coordination of the clinic's schedule and workflow
* Providing general administrative support to the podiatry team as required
* Reconciling accounts receivable including end of month outstanding accounts.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar medical/healthcare receptionist or administrative role
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for our patients
* Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with attention to detail
* Proficiency in using medical/practice management software and Microsoft Office suite
* A genuine interest in the healthcare/medical industry and a desire to contribute to the wellbeing of our patients
* Assistance with end of day clinic tidy up.
* Autoclave operation - training provided.
* Outstanding account management for 3rd Parties such as NDIS and My Aged Care.
What we offer
At Total Care Podiatry, we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment for our team. We value a healthy work-life balance and encourage our staff to take advantage of the part-time nature of this role. The role is 3 days per week 8.00am - 5.15pm with a trial period of 12 weeks. Flexibility to fill in other shifts if a colleague is away is prefered.
