An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Mental Health Clinician with tertiary qualifications in appropriate disciplines (Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing or Clinical Psychology) to join The Darwin Clinic team. The Darwin Clinic offers evidence-based therapy treatment programs for people with a range of psychiatric conditions and will include inpatient and outpatient groups.
Responsibilities
* Working in a Multidisciplinary Team – and teamwork experience
* Using ACT, CBT, DBT – formal training in these therapies and intervention
* Facilitating group therapy
* Care planning for adult mental health clients
* Risk assessment and safety planning
* Clinically collaborate with multidisciplinary team through developing inpatient and outpatient programs, triaging inpatient and outpatient admissions and participating in case conference meetings with treating psychiatrists.
Selection Criteria
* Knowledge and experience in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
* Experience in the development and creative delivery of group therapy
* Membership of the relevant professional association
* Well-developed assessment and report writing skills
* Capacity to work well in a team and practice reflectively
