Description
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for presentation to General Manager and MD
* Preparation of monthly reconciliations of all inter-company balances in line with company procedures
* Work closely with the financial controller to prepare annual budgets and forecasts where necessary
* Prepare year end financial statements together with supporting schedules and liaise with external auditors as required
* Calculate and prepare all statutory accounts and tax payments to ensure compliance with ATO requirements
* Ensure appropriate cash receipting procedures are at all times compliant with company policy
* Supervise the credit control and accounts payable function and ensure compliance with company policies
* Regularly monitor warranty claims and other receivables from the franchiser
* Supervise all company stock-takes and ensure adequate stock control
* Ensure the retention and adequate storage of files as required by law
Profile
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail in financial analysis.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively.
* Experience in the Transport, Logistics or Manufacturing industry highly regarded.
* Ability to assess current practices, streamline processes, and develop innovative improvement strategies while ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
* Provides guidance to others, sets clear objectives, monitors team performance, and develops systems to support customer relationships aligned with company strategy.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary package ranging from AUD 110,000 to AUD 125,000.
