Goodline require a FIFO Electrical Supervisor for an IMMEDIATE START. This role will work off a 2:1 roster and experienced Supervisors with HV expertise are encouraged to apply. This project is located at the Weipa Amrun site in theCape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, Australia. There are multiple projects occurring at this site and ongoing employment is on offer pending your successful performance.
About the role: You will supervise a team of electricians to deliver works on a bore upgrade at Amrun (located in the Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland).
Dates: Early January 2026, ongoing (date may move pending client requirements, travel/accommodation restrictions, inclement weather, and/or onboarding requirements)
Accommodation: Camp accommodation provided (dry mess).
Shifts: 11 hours.
Point of Hire: Must be Brisbane or Cairns based. Candidates living on the Gold Coast or outer areas of Brisbane or Cairns may consider applying - note you will need to travel to BNE or CNS Airport at your own cost.
Flights: Provided from Brisbane or Cairns.
Onboarding: Your employment is contingent on successfully completing Goodline's onboarding requirements. You will be required to undergo a pre-employment Medical including a Mineral, Mines and Quarries Respiratory Health Surveillance (MMQ), G1 Certificate training is required, Rio Tinto Inductions required to be completed.
Advantageous: Evidence of completingRio Tinto ISO/ Arch Flash training, G1 training, however Goodline will provide access to this training if required.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, licenses, and tickets are required to be presented during onboarding on request. Superintendents who hold a G1, G8 or G9 / equivalent S1, S2, S3 will be highly regarded.
ABOUT YOU:
You are trade qualified with a valid Electrical License recognised in Queensland and extensive experience supervising teams in a mining and/or heavy construction environment. You will also have:
* Experience supervising project teams
* Experience supervising in the shutdown environment
* Experience in FIFO work
* Exposure to HV terminations and cable installation
* Electrical Quality assurance
* Managing sub-contractors
* Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
* Drivers license
Qualifications required:
* Australian recognised Electrical Workers License
* Construction Induction Card (Mandatory)
* LV/CPR Certificate (Mandatory)
* QLD Coal Board or Mineral Mines Medicals (Advantage)
* Rio Tinto Inducted (Advantage)
* Willing to undergo Pre-employment checks and Medicals
