Senior Full Stack Developer (React & Python) - 12 Month Contract Are you a seasoned Full Stack Developer with a passion for building robust, scalable applications using modern technologies? We have an exciting 12-month contract opportunity to join a world-renowned organisation. This is an end-to-end full stack role where you will be instrumental in developing a new web application from architecture to deployment. You will be responsible for:
* Data Architecture: Designing and establishing standard data schemas, including integrating data from tools like Picasso and LineLab.
* Back-End Mastery: Designing, developing, and maintaining REST-based microservices using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django. This includes managing complex data integration (flat files, databases, APIs) and ensuring data quality.
* Database Management: Designing efficient database schemas for a complex, multi-level item catalog (SQL/NoSQL).
* Front-End Development: Building a "pleasant front end" web application using React (or similar framework like ), implementing user-facing components for catalog configuration and management.
* Full SDLC Ownership: Overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, robust testing (unit, integration, and E2E), deployment, and maintenance.
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to hit the ground running with the following core skills:
* Extensive Full Stack Software Development experience.
* Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly REACT.
* Strong commercial experience with Python and building microservices (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
* Proven ability to work with various databases (SQL and NoSQL).
* Solid Business Analysis skills to help gather requirements and design effective solutions.
