Bridgeford Group is expanding in Sydney, and we're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to be part of that growth. What You'll Be Doing
You'll take the lead on mechanical building services across a range of projects. The work is hands-on, technical and varied.
* Lead mechanical services design (HVAC, ventilation, energy-efficient systems).
* Produce and review engineering calculations, documentation and specifications.
* Work closely with electrical, hydraulic, fire and sustainability teams.
* Carry out site inspections, commissioning support and defect reporting.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
* Support bids and new project opportunities as the Sydney workload grows.
* Mentor junior engineers and help build a strong, supportive team culture.
* Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and internal QA processes.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is competent, reliable and comfortable owning their work.
* Mechanical Engineering degree.
* 7–10+ years' experience in building services. Ideally at Senior or Associate level
* Existing client relationships
* Experience across commercial and health sector
* Strong HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge.
* Experience coordinating across disciplines.
* Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, CAMEL, IES or similar tools.
* Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff.
* Chartered (or working towards it) is welcomed but not essential.
