We're currently working with a non-profit organisation who are looking to bring on an IT Trainer for the delivery phase of a software implementation. As the IT Trainer you will be performing face to face training across different sites within Victoria and Tasmania, as well as providing hypercare support post-training.
This role is on a contractual basis for an initial term of 4 months with the potential for a short term extension, rate is set up to $600 per day including super depending on experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Quickly assimilate and become proficient in the software, utilizing the completed documentation to understand all functionalities and features.
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to the needs of nurses and front-of-house staff, ensuring clarity and understanding of the software.
- Travel across Victoria and Tasmania to conduct face-to-face training sessions at various locations.
- Provide hypercare support post-training, addressing any user concerns or issues to facilitate a seamless adoption process.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the training program, including attendance, engagement, and feedback from staff.
- Collaborate with the project team to refine training materials and methods based on participant feedback and performance.
- Ensure all training activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
**Required Skills & Specialisms**:
- Proven experience as an IT Trainer, with a track record of successful software training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Reliable transportation and valid license required for travel to different sites.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a willingness to travel extensively.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
- A patient and approachable demeanor, capable of providing support and encouragement to learners.
- Relevant certifications in training or a related IT field are advantageous.
