Mackay Base Hospital Psychology Department is seeking applications for a Psychologist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
* Deliver psychology clinical services to patients in the Mackay Hospital Health Service – including inpatients, outpatients and consumers of Community Health and Therapy Services (CHATS), including outreach to regional areas.
* Work as a member of a dynamic, highly professional team of Psychologists, within a trans-disciplinary team setting and in a Health Psychology context.
* Your role will include assessment, therapy and group work, covering a range of clinical conditions and complexity.
* You will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative models of service and provide discipline specific services and consultation as required within the team and the service.
About the Team
Our Psychology Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Psychologists provide assessment and intervention for patients who develop emotional, behavioural and/or cognitive issues secondary to their medical condition, illness or injury or where such issues are impacting on their health improvement.
