Your new role
We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated and experienced Mobile Plant HTD Mechanic to work for the WA maintenance team, based in Kwinana Beach.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist in undertaking preventative maintenance, service and repairs on word class mobile plant whilst adhering to safety requirements.
You will be rewarded with ongoing mentoring opportunities, working for a sustainable growing business in a supportive and friendly team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Undertake the servicing and repairs to all mobile plant and equipment, including, excavators, wheel loaders and material handlers.
* Service and maintain various hydraulic and diesel equipment
* Maintain up to date and accurate service records
* Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnosis
* Carry out maintenance and component replacements
* Supporting a team and work under limited supervision
To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have
* Trade qualified as Diesel/ Mobile Plant Engineer
* A current driver's license
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Familiarity with Caterpillar and Sennebogan equipment
* Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Forklift ticket advantageous
* Strong focus on safety, with sound understanding of Workplace health and safety
* Flexibility to work overtime as required
