Part-Time Administration Assistant – Building Company (Office Location Wollongong NSW)
We are a growing building company based in the Illawarra and Southern Highlands NSW, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Assistant (Part-Time) to support our day-to-day operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working across accounts, job tracking, and general administration within a construction environment.
About the Role
This is a part-time position offering flexibility, suited to someone who can take ownership of administrative functions and contribute to the smooth running of the business.
You will play a key role supporting accounts, project administration, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance Administration
* Uploading receipts and purchases into Dext
* Processing supplier invoices and reconciling expenses
* Paying trades, suppliers, and employees
* Assisting with general accounts administration
Project & Job Administration
* Setting up and maintaining job folders for tracking projects
* Supporting job cost tracking and documentation
* Assisting with scheduling and coordination using building software
Contracts & Compliance
* Managing contract documentation
* Preparing and organising occupation certificate documentation
* Ensuring all compliance and project documentation is complete and up to date
General Administration
* Maintaining company records and documentation
* Supporting the team with day-to-day administrative tasks
* Assisting with internal systems and process improvements
About You
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Experience in administration (construction industry preferred)
* Comfortable working with numbers and basic accounts processes
* Proficient with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with trades and suppliers
* Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks
