Our work includes running our retail store, building yard, timber upcycling, e-waste processing, electrical testing, collectables research and sales, computer upcycling and online sales (and maybe more areas in the future).

We're committed to transparency, affordability, and community engagement - helping our customers with greener solutions and diverting as much as we can from landfill.

Benefits of working at Resource

One of the most exciting aspects of joining a worker's cooperative is the ability to contribute ideas and participate in decisions that guide the current and future strategic direction of the cooperative. Working at Resource allows you to make a difference in the world, by tackling a range of waste challenges, working with like-minded people and showing how well the cooperative model can work.

All workers at Resource have the opportunity to expand into different roles or work areas, as they arise and depending on interest and skills, with the potential to work additional days in other roles. Resource provides and supports a range of training and upskilling opportunities.

Being fair, non-discriminatory and respectful are important elements of the Resource culture and core values. We value diversity and inclusion and apply these principles in our work place and throughout our recruitment processes.
