PICKUP AND DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIRED (Coolum QLD)
Successful leading transport and logistics company seeking an experienced driver for the Coolum Depot.
Role
As a Local Driver your main responsibility is to ensure the productive operation of the transportation and distribution of freight. This is a FULL-TIME permanent position working from 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours a week).
Responsibilities
- Perform multi drop deliveries (general freight) daily, some of which will be hand unloaded
- 3-5 scheduled pickups per day
- Load/Unload trucks
- Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of your assigned vehicle
- Maintain all freight, parcels/items/pallet documentation
About you / Requirements
- Minimum full manual MR licence
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Multi drop experience in a similar company (minimum 12 months)
- No more than 8 demerit points accumulated on licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Be prepared to provide a current licence history report for the previous five years
- Full permanent working rights
