About The Position
This full-time Sous Chef position offers $80K-$85K (negotiable) and suits a technically strong, hands-on chef with proven leadership capability. You'll work closely with senior kitchen leadership to maintain quality, support the team, and contribute to menu direction. Position Description
* Lead daily kitchen operations with confidence across key sections
* Maintain food safety standards, ordering, and stock control
* Support, guide, and mentor a young and energetic kitchen team
* Assist with menu development and collaborate closely with senior leadership
* Step up to oversee service operations as required
Position Requirements
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
* Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable)
* Minimum 5 years as a Sous Chef, or strong CDP ready to step up
* Strong technical skills and sound food safety knowledge
* Positive leadership style suited to developing and supporting a young team
* Flexibility across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
