Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Acute Care-MH PD role provides high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. The nurse collaborates, delegates, and communicates effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. ICU, SCU, ED, and PACU RNs require ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of start date or per department guidelines. OB, NICU RNs require NRP certification within one year of start date or per department guidelines.
3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for RNs assisting laboring women required.
