Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Projects and Construction Manager located in Alice Springs, NT. The individual in this role will oversee project planning and execution, manage construction initiatives, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Responsibilities include managing teams, liaising with stakeholders, coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The role also involves risk assessment, cost estimation, and supervision of subcontractors and suppliers.
Qualifications
Proven project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Expertise in construction oversight, site management, and contractor coordination
Strong understanding of safety, quality control, and compliance with environmental standards
Ability to assess and mitigate project risks, manage budgets, and ensure delivery within financial resources
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in project management software and familiarity with construction regulations and best practices
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are advantageous
Experience in international or government contracting environments is a plus
